meet your needs. The first step in developing a new
design, or altering an existing one, is to determine
exactly what your needs are. In other words, together we
determine the primary function and target audience for
which the design is intended.
When creating a design, I start off by
researching the preferred design characteristics, such
as size, shape, weight, color, materials used, cost,
ease of use, fit, and safety. Then, with the above
elements in mind, I create preliminary designs and the
process proceeds from there until the optimal
design is produced.
